1. You must be a member of Goulongs !! These raffles are for people who like goulongs and also would like to participate in future group events.

2. If you win one of these designs, you may NOT SELL IT. You are free to trade it, but please don't enter just to trade these designs away!

3. You're free to enter for both designs!

4. You can only comment here ONCE for a number in the raffle drawing and you MUST comment here in order to enter at all. You can get more numbers in the drawing by reblogging this post here, retweeting this post here or sharing this post as a journal on dA. If you have done any of these (you can do all 3 alt options to add a max of 3 extra numbers in the drawing), please edit your comment here with a link to your reblog, retweet or journal as proof. Additional/repeated reblogs or retweets will not count towards another number. If youre entering for both, you only need to reblog/retweet/share once and add proof of your reblog/retweet/share to both of your comments!

A VERY BRIEF SUMMARY OF GOULONG LORE

according to legend, goulongs are the decendants of the Great Dragon god, and are their children for whom shall inherit the timeless land they live in. While goulongs are an ancient race, they were not the first to occupy their beautiful world. The goulongs believe that before they were ever created, the land belonged to what are now known as the gods. The gods were thought to have once been mortal, but ascended to godhood upon death. While they are now gone from the mortal plane, the gods left behind many structures to remind the goulongs of their divine origin.

Goulongs are an intelligent species, with a complex and diverse culture with deeply rooted traditions stemming from their spiritual background. Almost all goulongs are spiritual, and have a great love for nature. They worship many gods, some more so then others, however the worship of gods is very personal to goulongs, with each pack or individual having unique beliefs and values.
They have great respect for the land they live in, residing in the temples, shrines and homes left behind by their creators. It is considered a great crime to deface any relic. Many goulongs take it upon themselves to care for these shrines and temples, hoping to preserve their heritage for millennia to come.

The goulongs lived in peace and harmony with the land, with quarrels and differences rising and falling between themselves for several thousands of years. They were the masters of their land, indomitable by any of the creatures that shared the world with them, until humans came from over the Great Sea....
